Ministry to the Sick and Homebound

"The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved."

- St. Teresa of Calcutta

Do you know someone who is sick, bound by ill health, or who is carrying the cross of aged weakness that makes it hard for them to be present at Mass or in the active life of the parish? If you know someone who would like to be visited and/or brought communion weekly who is within the parish boundaries contact Sabrina Montoya.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are needed to bring the Eucharist from the altar at Mass to those who are in hospitals, nursing homes, and are home bound. Main Responsibilities and Duties:

Pray with those receiving the Eucharist

Time Commitment: Ministers are needed for a few hours on weekends.

Must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic in good standing

Must undergo Safe-Environment Training and a driving check

Required training is done on a one-on-one basis
