Altar Servers

"Service is the sign of true love. Those who love know how to serve others."
- Pope Francis

Altar servers have the distinct privilege of assisting the priests and deacons during the Mass and other liturgical celebrations by attending to the supporting tasks at the altar. Altar servers also serve as models for the congregation during celebrations.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

Act in a way that models proper Mass behavior

Say all congregational responses and prayers

Time Commitment: Each week a sign up sheet is sent out to all liturgical ministers to sign up for the upcoming weekend. You are able to sign up as often as you would like. You can sign up for once a year or every week and everything in between. When signed up to serve you will need to arrive early for Mass to ensure proper preparation.
