Pastor
Fr. Fox is originally a native of Rapid City, S.D. He is one of seven children and arrived in Denver as a student for the Diocese of Rapid City. He became a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Denver in 1970 and was ordained a priest in December of 1974.
Good Shepherd Parish marks the fourth parish he has served as pastor since his ordination. Before pickle ball swept the country, he used to enjoy playing handball and racquetball. Traversing many mountain trails with Colorado wildlife, he has enjoyed the beauty of the State of Colorado. His Patron Saint is James the Apostle, a brother to John. Both were fishermen.
One of his favorite Bible verses is Luke 15:20 "While he was still a long way off, his father caught sight of him and was filled with compassion. He ran to him, embraced him and kissed him." While many people imagine the Christian journey as one of seeking God, Fr. Fox has always been touched by the mercy of a God who finds us first.
