Welcome to Good Shepherd Catholic Parish, where people of all ages and many generations come together to celebrate that we are loved by God and that our lives are shaped by those whom we know and love in return.
We are a parish community of the Archdiocese of Denver, located in the Congress Park neighborhood on the historic 7th Avenue Parkway. For more than 120 years, Catholics of all ages in our community have prayed together, worked together to strengthen the bonds of our human families, and served those less fortunate than ourselves. Our community lived our faith life as sister parishes for many years and carried the names of two great saints: St. John the Evangelist and St. Philomena. In 1981, these sister parishes were combined to become Good Shepherd Catholic Parish.
Today, we are a growing community of young adults, married couples and families, guided in our life together by those who have been a part of this community for four generations. We are blessed with an outstanding Catholic school and Faith Formation Program. We also have many active ministries that we encourage you to consider joining. Take some time to learn about all the great things happening at Good Shepherd on the “Ministries” page of this website.
If you have not already done so please take a few minutes to register for the parish. This allows us to share with you all the great things happening at this parish, to ensure you don't miss a thing!
