Pastoral Council
The Good Shepherd Pastoral Council serves as a consultative committee that exists to assist and support the pastor, Fr. Jim Fox, and members of his staff in the accomplishment of the pastoral objectives. This includes assisting with identifying pastoral needs, advising the pastor on developing pastoral priorities, and implementing and evaluating pastoral programs. The Council encourages volunteerism and participation by the parishioners in the life and ministry of the Church.

The Parish Pastoral Council consists of nine members including one chair and a vice-chair. Members serve for a three-year term and may be named for one additional term. The Council meets monthly and as needed. Below you will find brief bios for all members.

James Arundel

Jim and his wife, Pat, have been parishioners at Good Shepherd for more than 20 years. They were very blessed when their daughter, Lyndsay, who is a trial lawyer in Denver, gave birth to their first grandchild, James Sidney, in July of 2016, and he was baptized by Father Fox shortly thereafter. Pat has in the past been very active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Jim was for many years the Vice Chairman of Kutak Rock LLP, a national law firm with a large office in Denver. He is looking forward to participating in the important work of the Pastoral Council, particularly relating to its support of Father Fox and the overall goals of the parish community.

Vivian has been a parish member along with her family (Susan, Matt and sister Izzi Mroz) for over 15 years, attending Good Shepherd School from 3rd-7th grade before her and her family moved to NY for 5 years. Even while in NY Vivian and her family always stayed a part of the Good Shepherd community. Spending 4 years at Jesuit University, Canisius College, Vivian graduated with degrees in criminal justice and political science with a minor in art history. While at Canisius Vivian spent her senior year helping Campus ministry and exploring her faith through Kairos. Through this growth Vivian wanted to contribute to the Parish that helped strengthen her faith and joined the Parish Council and she looks forward to helping Father Fox and Good Shepherd as a whole grow and strengthen as a Parish.
