Mass & Confession Times

Sunday Obligation

A dispensation from the Sunday and Holy Day obligation to participate in the Mass remains in place for all Catholics in the Archdiocese of Denver until further notice. If you are at risk, or do not feel comfortable attending Mass you may stay home and continue live streaming Mass on YouTube page.

Weekend Masses

While we are bringing back limited public Masses we will still continue live streaming Sunday Mass at 10:00 on our YouTube channel each week. Subscribe to our channel to receive notifications.

We will be asking families/individuals to sign up to attend Mass.  Please see the link below to sign up.

Confession at Good Shepherd
Effective June 6, 2020 – Procedure For Sacrament Of Confession
It is no longer necessary to sign up for the Sacrament of Confession at Good Shepherd. Beginning on June 6, Confessions will be heard immediately following the 4:00 p.m. mass every Saturday. (beginning approximately 5:00 pm. – 5:10 p.m.) Confession will be heard until the last penitent has been heard.

1. A Station for Confession has been set up at the Front of the Church, near the altar, which allows people to go to confession anonymously or face to face.
2. All persons coming for Confession must enter through the main Front Doors off of 7th Ave.
3. Procedures for going to confession are posted in the vestibule. Even if someone is waiting in the vestibule, you may enter to read the procedures.
4. After reading procedures, you may wait in the vestibule if there is only one other person waiting. Or you are to wait outside of the Church until you are invited to enter and to wait in the vestibule.
5. At this time, to assure privacy, you may not enter the body of the Church to pray while you are waiting and at the conclusion of your confession you must also leave the Church to allow the next penitent to enter. We have a beautiful grotto behind the Church with a Statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. You are welcome to pray there after your confession.
